Any fickle star shoots from the skies.

Colour spread in the sombre chambers of heart.

Till late your pleasing utterances boomed

As if the buds starts clanking in the wilderness.

You were far away in the assembly of honor

Yet I felt that you too came here

Concealing my lost dream in the songs

My annoyed sleeps, you brought reconciled

On the surface of night your signs of face emanated

Those silent eyes, that simple gaze

That sulking scarf, that flexible gait

That usually elastic delicate frame

You were not near to me but till dawn

Your each breath passed touching my body

Your dew of glimpse dribbles drop by drop.

Now if you accept it then o beloved of spring

I will not wait for you in the dark nights

My longing peep will seek you,

in songs & stanza of swayed rains.

If your love torment me then,

My existence will annihilate into your sweet voice.

And this soul which is restless for you

Turn into songs that will play on your lips

Songs of coolness of your beauty availed,

That will come into my sizzling surroundings

You tried to veil the blood of genocide.

That came today in open market and streets.

Somewhere fire, slogan & stone to be

Blood when boil not overcome by weapon

If head upsurge not refrain from regulation

But death of body no end of life

With exhaust of body the men not die

With pause of heart desires not die

With break of breath declaration not dies

With silent lips frost decrees   not die                        

But death of body no end of life

If blood is ours or blood of others

Blood is progeny of Adam’s at last

In case the war is in east or west.

This blood is peace of world at last.

Descending bombs on homes or border

The Soul of growth inflict with destruction

Even field of crops burn ours or others

That life suffers & grieves with starvation

A War is a problem deep in itself

Efforts for war not provide a solution?

Today it will accord blood and fire.

In future it will award crisis and hunger

So O’ Upright human being of world

Conflict keeps on deferred then it is better.

In open space our & your houses.

Delight goes on continue then it is better

Increasing respiratory problems especially among children tells the horror story of the environment of the urban city that is turning toxic & poisonous due to emissions of the vehicles. This is compelling the people to breath in the toxic gases reluctantly. The most affected & victim class of this pollution are the children as well the embryo in the womb of the mother who have not completed the tri semester of the pregnancy. 

The situation of poisonous environment is undoubtedly life threatening which is spoiling the adulthood of the children. Before attaining the age of adulthood most of the children start complaining of the coughing, sneezing or wheezing. Even the children get shorts of the breath due to respiratory problems developed on account of the poor functioning of the lungs. In several cases, children may die young.

               The smokestacks of industries & the exhausts of the vehicles is polluting the breathing air which is having the devastating effect on the body & mind of the people. A survey of Delhi reveals that 20000 school children found that one in every eight had asthma. Besides this most of the people have had dangerously high level of lead in their blood from air polluted by motor vehicles. In rural areas the cooking is generally done while using the cow dung & other materials which releases the smokes & make the home itself the death trap for the little children who remains around the hearth. Statistic reveals that the asthma, pneumonia & respiratory infection usually caused by the toxic air. It is amazing & horrifying facts that most of the children do not see their fifth birthday as they succumbed to the illnesses linked to the air pollution. Here I would like to mention that the most affected class are the children who have shorter tracheas than the adult people. So the pollutants emitted by the vehicles or the industries easily invade & start damaging the function of lungs badly. Likewise whenever the children take the sport activities they take more air 20 to 50 percent than the average adult. So they inhale the pollutant available in the atmosphere more than others. Tiny & little children whose noses are very small & works for filtering the air inhaled by them, usually gets blocked & swollen with the pollutants. As a result of which they have to inhale the breath from their mouth. Since the mouth does not work as the filtering of the air inhaled by the persons So the pollutant got through the mouth directly hit the lungs & make the children badly suffers. 

We can imagine the the pollution rising up with the increasing of the vehicles every year. There are almost 20 lacs of cars & jeeps in the country which is going up day by day. Nobody is worried about the problem of environment; neither the govt. is serious for introducing the strict system of check & balances of neither the environment nor the public is aware about the health hazards of this killer atmosphere that is engulfing the especially younger generation.

              Under these circumstances, it is need of the hour that National Govt should come forward to impose & enforce the strict anti pollution rules on industries & vehicles emissions. This depends upon the political will if the Govt. really wants to reduce the acceptable level of sulphur fuels. I hope that the children health will be improved if the certain restrictive measures will go into effect. Govt. should strive hard to establish the standard quality level of air that meets the US environmental protection agency & WHO standards. For maintaining this standard Govt is expected to plan the regular check up of the control pollution equipment of the industries as well as the emissions of the vehicles. Govt. should restrict the number of cars on road by auctioning the rights to own a vehicle.

          

               Drastic measures are needed to be taken in time otherwise life  expectancy would be in peril for which society will have to pay the price to protect the health from environmental dangers.

   Most of the chemist are supplying the codeine syrups to the addicts without any fear of the Narcotics control bureau and Drug Controller General of India. Statistics of the various states reveal that the use of addictive ingredient is much higher than actual demand of the states which clearly shows that the substance (Codeine phosphate) is going to the addicts. Chemist is free to dispense the cough syrups in bulk quantity without proper prescriptions. In this backdrop, it is essential to start a crackdown against the improper practices going on in this field. Concerning bureaus & department should chalk out strategy to suspend the licenses of the chemist shops across the states for illegally selling the cough syrups to the addicts. Whosoever, whether chemist or the distributor found indulged in the malpractices should no longer be ignored & perpetrators of the crime should be brought to the book.Cough syrups addiction is especially rise among the youth as its easy availability is the preferred source of addiction. Most of the doctors are of the view that this affects the all age group people.

Parents should be vigilant on their school going kids who may take this drug under these circumstances:-

1-Poor performance, dipping grades, absenteeism, ignoring home work, overlooking major exams & sudden change in peer group.

2- Moods swings, irritability, fatigue & loneliness.

3- Secretiveness is a vital sign and those dependent on drugs, tend to work overtime to hide bottles.

Besides this the side effects of this drug are as follows:-

1-   Prolonged use causes breathing problems,.

2-   Swelling of throat, lips & Face.

3-   Anxiety attacks, hallucination, dizziness, high blood pressure, impaired judgement and trembling of hands.

4-Codeine may cause addiction or withdrawal symptoms in a newborn if the mother takes this medicine during pregnancy. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using this medicine. Codeine can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. The use of codeine by some nursing mothers may lead to life-threatening side effects in the baby. Do not use codeine without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

There are particular many girls & housewives among the addicts who use it either for euphoric purposes or to tranquilize their anxiety for longer days. So the girls & housewives are advised not to use it as recreational or anti-depressant because it has serious side effects.
